I meet a lot of great people with my job and it is one of the best perks about being a wedding photojournalist but these two were special right from the first time we met. I think I wanted to work with them more than they wanted me =) Chris and Kayla I cannot thank you enough for the honor of being at your side on this day and to document this very amazing story of yours. Here are just a few to get you started. I will surely post more soon !
This session was shot Saturday morning at the Henry Clay Estate. Thank you both so much for being ready to have some fun and climb trees. I only hope we can get Kelly in a tree in her wedding dress !
I would like to thank you both so much for the chance to work with you and the beautiful surroundings that we we had a chance to shoot with. Here are some of the highlights of earlier in the day. I will post more as they are edited and available. Congrats to you.
More scenes from the biggest day of their lives. I hope you have enjoyed looking at these and will cherish them as your wonderful keepsakes for many years to come.
Here are a few of the scenes hours before Becca & Brad became man & wife. I will post more as I go but this provides a good idea of the look and feel of their day.
My first thought yesterday was that it would rain for sure and we would not get this shoot in. Once the weather held off and Mindy & Aaron showed up with big smiles I just knew we would get some good shots. I really enjoyed myself with this couple from the first time we met. These were shot at triangle park and Ashland. I love the vibrance and the genuine happiness in these. I hope you do as well.
p.s.
I wrote this one !
We had a blast shooting this Epix session. We were down on the river in Louisville and the overcast skies held the rain off to sneak this shoot in. All 3 of us got wet between running through the fountains or in the damp grass but fun was had by all. I can't wait for this wedding.
What a pleasure it was to be a part of this couples wedding. You do not get more genuine that these two people. I enjoyed watching the emotion of the day unfold and seeing the laughs (fumble) and even a few tears from the front row. The weather holding off was our sign that things will be great for this couple. I wish you both the absolute best in life and hope we can get together soon ! Here are some teasers
Friends of ours had us over and as always I bring a camera in tow. We got some shots of their beautiful little girl and had our angel join in for some as well. Here are some highlights
The sun came out for the first time in forever just before this wedding started so I knew it was a good sign. The ceremony took place in Winchester before a packed house and everyone looked amazing. Reception photos to follow soon !
Here are some newer shots of our little girl Ms. Abigail Grace. She is the everything in our lives and we are so blessed to have her.
Never before have I met a bride who grinned ear to ear like Kristi. She was the definition of happiness on her wedding day which makes my job so enjoyable. My favorite part of the day was a touching speech by the father of the bride that nearly brought this new dad to tears. It was an honor to be with Kristi & Wes on this day. Here are just a few for now. Enjoy
